Decorating Bathroom Commode and Sink?

by Veronica Bennett
(Lexington, KY)

What can I put on the back of my commode (items) to make it look nice, but not too much? Also, what items can I put on my bathroom sink; it too is small.

Giorgina's Answer: I am assuming the commode is a shelf with a storage compartment. When decorating, it is always important to display items that represent you. For instance, some prefer a beach theme for their bathroom, and for instance, display a jar containing beach sand with sea shells. You may also place a small picture frame, decorative tissue box holder, or small cherub statue.

Since the bathroom sink is small, you may wish to limit what you place on it to a decorative soap dispenser.
