Balloon Fabric Shades:  Balloon Fabric Shades are a striking choice that can make any window a focal point.  These shades are available with inverted pleats that are generally spaced 10” to 15” apart and the shades cascade into poufs along the bottom edge.

With narrower balloon fabric shades, there is one pouf while the wider window shades have more.  These may be made in custom widths up to 120” and heights up to 108”.  When raised, the stacking height of these window shades is generally 11” to 15”.
 

London Fabric Shades:  This elegant and sophisticated shade lies flat at the top and falls neatly from inverted pleats to gentle swags along the bottom with wings on either side. 

The narrow London Fabric Shades have one swag while the wider shades have more than one swag. 

These shades are available in custom widths up to 120” and heights up to 108”. 

For these fabric shades, the stacking height when raised will be anywhere from 11” to 15”, depending upon the shade height.

Sussex Fabric Shades:  The beauty about Sussex Fabric Shades is that its lines fall casually from the top into loose tucked pleats at the bottom, with wings at either side of the window shades.

This relaxed drape is available in an assortment of lightweight fabrics and solid colors.

 

Classic Roman Fabric Shades:  With this particular shade, the fold lines are inverted and seamed, creating precise and defined folds when raised and clean horizontal lines at 11 ¼” intervals when lowered. 

For visual impact, you may consider framing these types of shades with panels, which further helps insulate and control light. 

These window shades are available in custom widths up to 120” and heights up to 108”.

Depending on the shade height, the stacking height when raised will be 8” to 10”.
 

Cuffed Roman Shades:  Cuffed Roman Shades offer clean classic lines with the added cuffed bottom hemline that is quite fashionable.

Flat Roman Fabric Shades:  Flat Roman Fabric Shades become flat when lowered and then fold up neatly at the top when fully raised.

Relaxed Roman Fabric Shades:  Relaxed Roman Fabric Shades combine a casual softness, along with a comfortable attitude. This shade falls smoothly and evenly from the top to form soft, unstructured swags at the hemline.  With the narrow shades, you will have a single swag. 

This shade is available in custom widths up to 120” and heights up to 108”.  The stacking height will be 11” to 15” when raised, depending upon the shade height.

 

Soft Roman Fabric Shades:  This particular shades is a classic choice for tailored elegance with draped, overlapping folds spaced neatly at 4 ½” to 6” intervals.  When raised, the shade folds evenly to the top.

These window shades are available in custom widths up to 120” and heights up to 108”, with the stacking height being 8” to 10” when raised, depending upon the shade height.

Fabric Shades Options

The following options are available for Fabric Shades:

• Lift System:  Included in the lift system is Loop Control.  This enables you to evenly raise, lower, and position shades using a continuous loop that is secured by a cord guide.  This eliminates dangerous, dangling lift cords for extra child and pet safety. 

• Two on One Headrail:  One headrail over two side-by-side shades allows for a unified look.  This is also ideal for wide windows where a single shade is heavy.  The lift cords on each shade allows for independent light control.

• Motorization:  This is an effortless way to raise and lower shades.  It is available in a single or multi-channel to operate up to 4 shades at distances up to 50'.

• Lining:  For maximum privacy and light blocking, you can opt for a 3-ply blockout lining. 

• Dual Shade:  This allows you to operate the top layer shade separately from the undertreatment.  It multiplies light control options by combining the front layer of the shade with an independently operated sheer or blockout layer underneath.  The undertreatment is available in sheer fabrics. 

• Top Upgrade:  A Top Upgrade consists of a decorative valance that is either a straight or curved shape.  This gives you the opportunity to coordinate or match the fabric in your shades. 

• Trim Style:  This adds a lovely touch to your shades.  Trim is available in the following:  ribbon loop trim, tassel fringe, skirted braid, ruffle hem, crochet lace trim, satin ruffle, sheer ribbon, velvet ribbon banding, and Grosgrain ribbon banding. 

• Cord Options:  A cord loop eliminates dangling cords for additional safety. 

• Cleats/Tassels:  Cleats are used to tie off control cords while the matching metal tassels serve to replace the wooden tassels that come with shades.  These are available in the following finishes:  black, rust, nickel, brass, pewter, and are available in a scroll and fleur de lis design (only in a black color).

Honeycomb Shades

Honeycomb Shades (also known as cellular shades) have the look and feel of fabric, but offers softness, along with deep, even coloration that won't fade even in full sun locations.

You can find these shades with top and bottom rails that are fabric-wrapped for a uniform look.

• Lift System:  With this system, you can lower your shades from the top to allow in sunlight with the top down/bottom up option or you can opt for one of the following:  loop control, multiple shades on one headrail, cordless, or motorization, which will enable you to raise your shades with ease. 

• Multiple Shades on One Headrail:  The Multiple Shades on One Headrail allows wide windows to have a uniform, streamlined appearance with one headrail for two, three, or four side by side shades. 

• Loop Control:  This continuous-loop lift mechanism enables you to easily and evenly raise, lower, and position even the largest shades while eliminating dangling cords.  Aside from eliminating the danger that dangling cords pose to children and animals, this feature provides an uncluttered look. 

• Cordless:  The bottom rail handle provides a convenient way to push up or pull down to easily position shades.  This upgrade replaces lift cords, which is an added safety feature ideal for homes with small children and pets.

• Cordless Top Down/Bottom Up:  This option allows you to lower your shades from the top to let in sunlight, while remaining closed at the bottom to conserve your privacy. You can also raise your shades from the bottom or position both the top and bottom areas at any level you wish.  To lower and position the shade, simply push up or pull down using an unobtrusive handle. 

• Top Down/Bottom Up:  You can lower shades from the top, allowing natural light in with complete privacy or raise them from the bottom for a traditional approach.

• Motorization:  The motor is concealed behind the shade with a small sensor hanging to the side.  It comes with controls set to raise or lower the shade completely.  You may also set the shade on your desired position.  The motorization feature works best on lightweight fabrics and is not recommended for heavy fabrics.

• Motorization Remote Controls:  A single channel remote control will operate one shade or a group of shades.  The multi-channel remote control will operate 4 shades, plus a group of shades.  Neither of these remotes requires direct line of site to the shade and can be used from a different room. 

• Motorization Wall Switch:  If you are concerned about losing the remote control or prefer it mounted on the wall, then you may wish to consider a single-channel or multi-channel wall switch.  These wall switches are battery operated and do not require hard wiring. 

Illusions Shadings

Fascia Valance:  A Fascia Valance is a cassette style system that completely conceals the hardware.  You can choose the fabric for the Fascia Valance to match your shade material or aluminum to match the bottom rail. 

Top Down/Bottom Up:  You can lower shades from the top, allowing natural light in with complete privacy, raise them from the bottom, or combine both operations for the perfect mix of natural light and desired level of privacy.
