Kitchen Cabinet Knobs

My mom is ordering kitchen cabinets. She is getting maple cabinets - ginger is the color - not too dark a brown but not too light. She ordered brushed nickel knobs and handles and is second guessing herself. Her kitchen faucet will be in brushed nickel but she hasn't chosen her light fixtures yet. Her second choice is a black type knob with a little gold in it. What do you suggest - brushed nickel or the black with a little gold in it?

Giorgina's Answer: I believe that the brushed nickel knobs and handles are a lovely choice because they will stand out more than the black/gold knobs and look very classy. If she is going for a Contemporary look, then the brushed nickel is perfect. If she prefers a more antique look, then the black with gold knobs will look nice. It all depends on what she is trying to achieve as far as style is concerned, but with the brushed nickel, her cabinets and kitchen will look more dramatic.
