Master Ensuite Question

The general rule for an ensuite is the floor tile goes around the tub and the shower tile can be different.

Is there instances where the shower tile and tub tile can be the same and the floor tile is different?

I have enclosed a picture.

What I would like to do is have the white tiles and trim around the tub wall and shower, and the white tiles on the tub and the black tile on the floor. Then white cupboards and a black counter top. Does this sound crazy?
