Matching Chandeliers?

I need to buy two chandeliers, one for the living room and another for the dining room. The two rooms are open to each other and the two chandeliers will be about 15 feet apart. Do they need to be identical or match each other, or can I play with different style?

Giorgina's Answer: They don’t need to be identical, but my suggestion is to consider styles that are similar in finish to allow for a uniform look.
