Moroccan Furniture with Gold Paint?

I recently bought a house in which the previous owners painted the master bedroom a soft gold color, and I do not want to go through the expense of re-painting it. I have a couple of Moroccan pieces in a dark red color (nightstand and a floor lamp) and would like to continue with this style, but not sure how. Any ideas on what bed or other furniture pieces will work with this color and style?
