New Appliances for Kitchen?

My kitchen has barn red paint on walls with red and mustard checker print wallpaper under oak cabinets. My theme is roosters. I need new appliances and was wondering about stainless steel in my country kitchen? I was also wondering if granite would look good with the country theme? If so, what color would you suggest?
