Outdoor Halloween Decorations

There is an abundance of fabulous exterior Halloween decor to choose from. 

I will explore some ideas to help you get started on this ghoulish voyage in making the exterior of your home look quite spooktacular this Halloween.
 

Some Ideas for Exterior Halloween Decor

You can add a sense of eeriness to the exterior of your home by incorporating cobwebs, giant spiders, tombstones, a couple of skeletons, and a bloody dummy hanging from a tree (if you happen to have a tree in front of your home). Also, staked yard ghosts give the front lawn a sense that the home is haunted while blending in with the tombstones. 

Some hay stacks and pumpkins help complete the look for the autumn/Halloween spirit.  You can even put a Halloween doormat that creaks or makes scary noises to welcome people through your front door. 

Lastly, including spooky sounds of howling wind, creepy voices, creaking, and the sound of chains will add eeriness to your exterior Halloween decor.    

Bats

Hanging

Giant Bat:  You can hang a giant bat on a tree to give your home exterior an even creepier look.  It has sharp looking fangs, beady little eyes, and pointed ears that will send anyone that sees it running for cover.

Lighting

Bat and Spider Lights:  A fabulous way to add glow to your outdoor Halloween decorations is to incorporate a bat and spider light set around the top of your front door or you can intertwine it on the railing or fence. 

The light set has orange, purple, and green spiders that emit a luminous glow with two internal lights.  An eerie shimmer is cast by the black wire bats, along with one orange light.

Haunted House and Trick or Treat Garden Stakes:  What an adorable way to welcome trick-or-treaters.  These make the perfect accent for your lawn.  The signs feature bold black and orange colors.
