Wedding Aisle Decorationsby Giorgina Devereaux Wedding aisle decorations will add a fairytale-like feel to your wedding. Imagine the pews all dressed up in an assortment of tulle, clear lights, and an array of soft and delicate flowers cascading down. It adds an enormous amount of beauty when combined with materials, such as ribbons, sheer or silk fabrics, and other creative touches that include raffia ribbon topped off with a crystal heart charm.  If flowers are not in your budget, you can still beautifully decorate the aisle
with faux flowers set inside a burlap cone or a mason jar. Even if your wedding
is outdoors, you can make the wedding aisle look dramatic. Accent the aisle by
hanging colorful pomander balls on a Shepherd’s hook, along with tulle draped
over it in a swag-like pattern to enhance the look as well as to conceal the
hook. For a varied effect, consider alternating between different colors. This
will make a magical impact on guests. For an evening outdoor wedding, you can decorate the end of each row with a candle lantern, along with a lovely floral arrangement set inside a clear vase. You may wish to have a white canopy or ceremony arch positioned at the end, along with two floral arrangements flanking each side. This creates a fabulous touch. Take advantage of the outdoor scenery to create a stunning design that flows seamlessly. Depending on your theme, you can opt for wedding aisle decorations that feature a beach or autumn theme, for instance. The combination of fall colors looks romantic.  Exchanging vows amidst this splendor is something that is only imagined in

To further enhance the beauty, cover the top of the jar that is exposed metal
with a piece of silk fabric followed by a piece of tulle on top. Then wrap a
piece of raffia ribbon along with a wedding charm around the jar and tie tightly
around each pew. Ostrich Feathers: A pretty dramatic way to accent the wedding aisle is by using ostrich feathers of varying heights. Place them inside a tall vase, along with silk orchids. Display each vase next to other aisle decor. Paper Lanterns: Paper lanterns exude timeless elegance and calm. This easy decoration adds style to formal celebrations. Simply attach one to each ceremony chair in a color matching your wedding theme.  Paper lanterns are stylish for a wedding and are available in the following

The type of vase you opt for can make a striking impact on your wedding. You may choose a hurricane, trumpet, rectangular, or square vase made of recycled glass. They are available in different colors, with the clear vase being the most commonly used one in weddings. Some vase ideas include the following:  • Using a hurricane vase, fill it with water, along with a floating candle and
rose petals. Flank the aisle from beginning to end to add drama. • A trumpet vase makes a stunning display when filled with flowers, such as hydrangeas mixed with red flowers and a pillar candle. You may also fill a trumpet vase with a vase filler and other materials, such as seashells. Dot both sides of the aisle with these vases to complement the setting. • Another idea is to place floral arrangements in clear square vases and position a spotlight pointed upward to highlight the beautiful arrangement. A nice floral arrangement to consider is an assortment of yellow flowers, white flowers, and baby’s breath. Vase Fillers: This adds a beautiful decorative and colorful touch to the vase.
