Window Panel Decor

I purchased two sets of panels that I want to put on a bay window. I really love them and don't want to take them back. One set is mainly dark brown paisley with a little red in it, the other is solid red. When I hung them together you can just barely see the red color in the paisley panel. Is there a way to add something brown to the red panel to make them appear more matched? Buttons, trim, or something?
